Minnie & Paul
The Twins’ original “Minnie and Paul” logo stands in center field. It shows two players wearing the uniforms of the two minor-league teams that played in the Twin Cities before the Twins’ arrival, the Minneapolis Millers and St. Paul Saints, shaking hands across the Mississippi River.
Grain Belt Beer Sign
Around 1938, the Grain Belt logo began to feature the trademark bottle cap logo behind a red diamond. A few years later, the giant Grain Belt sign was built on the west side of Nicollet Island along the Mississippi River near downtown Minneapolis.
